Terms of Use and Sale

Last updated : 2026-08-29

These terms govern access to the Staylo website and the accommodation bookings made through it. By using the site, you accept them.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use and Sale (the "Terms") define how the staylo.fr website (the "Site") may be accessed and used, and the conditions under which accommodation bookings are offered and concluded.

2. The Staylo service

Staylo is an intermediation platform giving access to a hotel inventory aggregated from specialised technology partners. Staylo lets you search, compare and book accommodation, then pay online.

The accommodation service itself is provided by the hotel. Payment processing and booking fulfilment are handled by Staylo's technical partner, acting as merchant of record for the transaction.

3. Booking and formation of the contract

A booking is firm once payment is validated and confirmation is issued. It commits you to the conditions (rate, board, cancellation policy) shown at purchase.

You agree to provide accurate information about the traveller(s). You must be of legal age and have the capacity to book.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown inclusive of taxes, excluding any city tax paid on site at the hotel. The price shown at purchase is the price charged.

Payment is made online, securely, via the payment partner. Staylo stores no card data. Depending on the offer, the charge occurs at booking or, for some rooms, at the property.

5. Cancellation and refund

Cancellation conditions depend on the booked offer (refundable or not, free-cancellation deadline) and are shown before purchase.

Cancellation is done from your "My bookings" area. Any refund is determined by these conditions: a refundable offer cancelled before the deadline is refunded in full; after that date, or for a non-refundable offer, an amount may be withheld.

6. User obligations

You agree to use the Site as intended, not to disrupt its operation, and to provide truthful information. Any fraudulent use may lead to cancellation of the relevant bookings and suspension of the account.

7. Liability

The accommodation service is provided by the hotel, which alone is responsible for the quality of the stay and the services described. Staylo acts as a technical intermediary and cannot be held liable for acts attributable to the property, within the limits set by law.

Staylo makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of displayed information but cannot guarantee the complete absence of error or temporary unavailability of the Site.

8. Intellectual property

The "Staylo" brand, logo, texts, interface and graphic elements of the Site are protected. Any reproduction or use without authorisation is prohibited.

9. Personal data

The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, accessible from the Site footer.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.

Consumers may use a consumer ombudsman free of charge to resolve a dispute amicably. For any prior claim, contact us at contact@staylo.fr.
